Samantha Rocha, RMT View Availability
Samantha graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in the Spring of 2017 and has continued on to become a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in the province of British Columbia.
She is excited and grateful to practice in the areas of general swedish, myofascial release and craniosacral therapies while helping her patients find a balance in both their bodies and daily lives. Her continuing education interests lie in deepening an understanding of her current practice with expansion into the areas of visceral manipulation as well as research into the pathological processes of postural dysfunction, stress management and chronic pain.
During her time as a student, Samantha conducted an in-depth case study into how compensatory processes become pathological following an injury which led her to win first place in a provincial competition for both her research and contribution to the field of Manual Therapy. This process led her to appreciate the importance of patient education as an integral part of peoples therapies and she strives to be a resource for her patients while continuing to further her own education in the field of soft tissue therapy.
Samantha hopes to continue to have a positive influence on the lives of her patients and appreciates being a trusted part of their wellness regime.
